BIN-Norden has more than 200 members. The members in the network are mostly researchers, but also practitioners, cultural producers and policy makers.

Membership in BIN-Norden is personal, not institutional. The majority of larger research institutions in the field of child culture in the Nordic countries are represented through these individual memberships. It is important to underline that the research which BIN-Norden members are involved in are executed, owned and funded by the researchers themselves (and the institutions they are connected to), not by BIN-Norden.
